Where to See Santa in Wimberley in 2026: Photos, Storytime & Holiday Visits

Santa has a busy season ahead in Wimberley. He’s reading stories, stopping by local shops, joining the parade and making plenty of time for Christmas wishes. If someone in your house has already started asking when they can see him, here’s your list.

Meet Wimberley’s Santa

Wimberley Santa, pictured below in his red suit and cowboy hat, is a bit of a local celebrity. His holiday rounds bring him to familiar places all over town—from book readings in local shops to evenings at the EmilyAnn Trail of Lights. Along the way, there are Christmas wishes to hear, photos to take and a little extra magic to share.

He’s also an author, with Christmas stories inspired by kindness, community and Wimberley itself, including Cookies with Santa and Wimberley’s Santa and the Trail of Lights. At selected appearances, he gives children his Magic Wishing Coins while supplies last. You can follow Wimberley’s Santa on Facebook for a little more Christmas cheer and updates from Santa himself.

We’ve brought together Santa’s public appearance calendar, venue schedules and the Wimberley Buzz Events Calendar. All dates below are in 2026, and times are local. Some visits need tickets; where a listing doesn’t give a price or reservation policy, check with the host before heading out.

Santa at the EmilyAnn Trail of Lights

Christmas lights and a visit with Santa are a pretty wonderful combination. EmilyAnn’s own 2026 daily schedule lists the following visits at 1101 FM 2325. Admission to the trail is free, with a suggested $20 donation per family.

DatesSanta visiting hours
Nov. 28Arrival at 5 p.m. for opening ceremonies; evening visits 6–9 p.m.
Nov. 29; Dec. 6, 13–176–8 p.m.
Dec. 4–5, 11–12, 18–23 and 266–9 p.m.

We’ve used EmilyAnn’s venue schedule where it differs from Santa’s personal calendar, including the earlier Sunday finish and December 23 hours. Santa’s calendar also lists Mrs. Claus on December 20. Check the daily program again close to your visit.

Our EmilyAnn Trail of Lights guide has the parking and walking-trail details. Bring your camera, layers and a little patience for excited children finding just the right words for Santa.

A royal invitation: the Princess Holiday Ball

Santa also makes a surprise appearance at Central Texas Theatre Academy’s Princess Holiday Ball: December 19 at 6 p.m. and December 20 at 2 p.m. The event includes princess characters, dancing, crafts, a tea party and desserts. Tickets are $35 per child and $15 per adult; seating is limited. CTTA is at 12111 Ranch Road 12, suites 111–113. Santa’s exact arrival within each event isn’t listed.

Nearby Santa visits: Driftwood and Dripping Springs

Vista Brewing in Driftwood: Santa & Mini Goat Snuggles is listed for November 29 and December 13, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. These are nearby outings outside Wimberley, with advance tickets. Use Vista’s calendar for the booking link and current pricing.

Solaro Estate Winery in Dripping Springs: Santa’s calendar lists a photo-and-wine event on December 6, 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Check Solaro Estate for admission and reservation details.

A little extra magic: Santa’s Wishing Coins

Nine stops on Santa’s calendar include a limited giveaway of red 2026 Magic Wishing Coins. We’ve marked each one above, from the book signings to Gennaros’ 100-coin visit. They go to the first children while supplies last, so they’re a lovely extra rather than something to promise on the drive over.

Before you head out

For breakfasts, storytimes and the ball, confirm tickets before getting everyone dressed. For other visits, check whether photos are taken on your phone or offered by a photographer, and whether there’s a charge. A public listing alone doesn’t mean the whole experience is free.

Looking for the rest of the season? Our Christmas in Wimberley guide brings together the lights, music, holiday markets and local shopping.

Schedules checked November 3, 2026. Times, availability and appearance details can change; unresolved differences are noted above.
